D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program participating schools
The District of Columbia's official OSP list has 38 entries (dated September 2026). Here are the 31 we could match to a school and an address, grouped by town. If a school is not here, check the official list: it may be on it under another name.
Before you pick a school
- The award: Up to $10,000 for grades K to 8 and $15,000 for grades 9 to 12 (2026-27). Federally funded under the SOAR Act. EdChoice reports an average of $11,318 in 2024-25.
- Who qualifies: D.C. residents entering kindergarten through 12th grade whose family receives SNAP or earns no more than 185% of the poverty line. Returning students stay eligible up to 300%.
- When to apply: Applications for 2027-28 are open now. The cycle runs from September to April or May. You must also apply to and be accepted by the school.
- Being on the list is not a seat. Ask each school whether it has room in your child's grade and what you would still owe after the award.
