Schools That Accept the Jon Peterson Scholarship (276)

Before you pick a school

The award: For 2026-27 the maximum runs from $10,045 (speech or language impairment, related services only, not tuition) to $34,000 (autism, traumatic brain injury, or hearing and vision impaired), set by the primary disability category in the student’s evaluation team report. A student must be enrolled for the whole year to receive the full amount, and parents pay costs above the maximum.
Who qualifies: Students from age 3 through 21 who have an individualized education program (IEP) from their public school district. Since September 30, 2025, children aged 3 and 4 qualify with a compliant ETR and IEP in one of the 13 disability categories under IDEA.
When to apply: An eligible family first selects a participating Jon Peterson provider (a school or other provider) in the state’s Scholarship Provider Directory. Renewal opens February 1 of each school year.
Being on the list is not a seat. Ask each school whether it has room in your child's grade and what you would still owe after the award.
