Alabama CHOOSE Act Participating Schools by Town

Before you pick a school

The award: $7,000 per student at a participating school. Homeschooled students get $2,000 each, up to $4,000 a family.
Who qualifies: For 2026-27, households at or below 300% of the poverty level. It opens to every family in 2027-28.
When to apply: The 2026-27 window closed March 31, 2026. Applications for 2027-28 open in January 2027.
Being on the list is not a seat. Ask each school whether it has room in your child's grade and what you would still owe after the award.
