Is there still room?

Michigan is not on the IRS list of states taking part in the new federal scholarship tax credit that starts in 2027 (list dated September 14, 2026). Gov. Whitmer said she was waiting for full Treasury guidance, which Treasury proposed on October 1, 2026. The State Board of Education voted against opting in.
